Puritya was born from a longing for home, and a wish to share the time-honoured traditions of Indian hair care with the world. Our founder, an Indian living abroad, missed the familiar ritual of hair oiling and the connection it kept to his heritage. He could not find an oil that felt authentic, so he set out to make one.
